      <title>My herd of Little Ponies</title>
      <link>https://blog.ocellaroid.net/my-herd-of-little-ponies</link>
<description>&lt;![CDATA[I haven&#39;t considered myself an active collector of My Little Pony toys in a long time, since I grew up and stopped collecting pretty things in favor of playing with action figures in the sand pit, but I do maintain a small inner circle of a few select ponies.&#xA;&#xA;Individuals&#xA;&#xA;Lickety-Split&#xA;&#xA;My favorite pony from the cartoon and my wee wifey. I went out of my way to buy her on Ebay even though I usually just pick up ponies at thrift stores and the like. Her mane is white (and I like it that way!) but her tail still has quite a bit of pink to it. I remember taking her to school a few times as a teenager, but she&#39;s still in good condition. Her factory curl has long since deserted her, but I don&#39;t mind at all.&#xA;&#xA;Pillow Talk&#xA;&#xA;Another pony I actively sought out and purchased online, for less sentimental reasons. She&#39;s my favorite pony in terms of appearances, and her mane in particular is just gorgeous. Her symbol is a little scuffed, but not excessively so. She has a pink ribbon tied around her tail that I&#39;m almost certain isn&#39;t original. I&#39;ve always imagined her as sort of a pervert. I mean, how else do you end up with a name like that?&#xA;&#xA;Baby Frosting&#xA;&#xA;A.K.A. Party Girl, rescued from my tremendous collection of bait ponies bought in lots. I don&#39;t really know why her previous owner considered her bait, since she&#39;s not in bad condition at all. One of her eyes doesn&#39;t shut (the socket has something brown in it, could be rust but the eye itself doesn&#39;t appear abnormal) and she has a small pink mark on one of her back legs, but other than that she&#39;s quite nice looking. I imagine she&#39;s Pillow Talk&#39;s little friend. Maybe they met online.&#xA;&#xA;Derpy&#xA;&#xA;Bought new as a part of the 2013 Favorites Collection way back when. I&#39;ve styled her mane with the rubber band from her tail to give her a forelock. She&#39;s the only G4 pony in my inner circle. Not much to say about her, really.&#xA;&#xA;Baby Cotton Candy&#xA;&#xA;The only pony from the first lot I bought to remain close to me. She definitely went to high school with me a few times, LOL. She&#39;s wearing a diaper and a pink &#34;BABY&#34; necklace, both original. Her factory curl is gone, but her hair remains miraculously pink. She&#39;s got sort of a dark, power hungry vibe, like a tiny, wicked pony vizier.&#xA;&#xA;Puzzlemint&#xA;&#xA;Gamer pony. A longtime favorite of mine, I happened upon her at a thrift store and decided to take a chance. Her mane was in terrible shape when I got her, but I swear there&#39;s some kind of magic chemical reaction that happens when you put cheap conditioner on cheap plastic hair. She&#39;s the only G3 pony in my inner circle, and one of only two G3 ponies in my overall collection.&#xA;&#xA;Baby Countdown&#xA;&#xA;I think I got him from the same thrift store as Puzzlemint. His mane sits kind of strangely on his head, but I think it&#39;s charming. I&#39;d like to get him a reproduction bandana at some point.&#xA;&#xA;Puppy Love&#xA;&#xA;HQG1C pony. Gets to be in my inner circle purely because she&#39;s pretty and I know where she&#39;s been.&#xA;&#xA;The future of my herd&#xA;&#xA;Like I said, I&#39;m no longer an active collector of pony toys. There are a few ponies I&#39;d pick up if I saw them, but I think it&#39;s unlikely I&#39;ll go out of my way to get any more. Of course, there&#39;s always a chance that I&#39;ll dip further into my collection of baits and maybe even make some customs, but it remains to be seen.]]&gt;</description>
